…At Sloane Celebrates Summer with a very French Tradition:“La Piscine”
…At Sloane, the Chelsea 5* boutique hotel where quintessential British style meets the ‘French touch’, by renowned hotelier Jean-Louis Costes, is celebrating Summer by bringing one of the South of France’s most enduring summer traditions to London, une piscine de rosé ou de champagne.

A cherished ritual across the French Riviera, “La piscine” sees perfectly chilled rosé wine or champagne served over ice, transforming a simple glass into an elegant cooling indulgence. Relaxed, sophisticated and unmistakably French, which perfectly reflects the spirit of …At Sloane.
At the heart of the offering is Hanikon Rosé produced in Provence by Domaine La Rouillère. It is crafted from a classic Provençal blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Mourvèdre, Vermentino, Syrah and Cabernet-Sauvignon. This blend creates an elegant rosé with aromas of fresh berries, citrus and white flowers, underpinned by delicate minerality and savoury herbs. Crisp and refined it is equally suited to be enjoyed as an apéritif or on long lunches and warm summer evenings.
One of few exclusive destinations in London to serve Hanikon Rosé, …At Sloane brings a taste of Provence to the heart of Chelsea. Served as une piscine de rosé, the wine’s delicate freshness and pale Provençal hue capture the relaxed elegance and effortless glamour of summers on the Côte d’Azur.
The ritual of “La piscine” pairs beautifully with the hotel’s recently launched late-night dining menu, available around the clock. Featuring Hotel Costes favourites including the celebrated Nos Nems, steamed prawn dim sum, signature lobster pasta and impossibly thin allumette fries, the menu captures the convivial spirit of Parisian dining.
Lined with plush banquettes, soft candlelight and cashmere curtain-draped snugs, Bar …At Sloane was conceived by Monsieur Costes as an intimate space where conversation naturally lingers. Here, une piscine de rosé ou de champagne embraces the elegance of a French summer.

About …At Sloane:
…At Sloane is located just off Chelsea’s Sloane Square and officially opened its doors in September 2023. This exquisite property is a collaboration between the revered designer Francois-Joseph Graf and the 300-year-old Cadogan Estate. Exuding an air of timeless elegance where Chelsea charm meets Parisian chic, this 30-key hotel went through an extensive six-year building project. Originally designed in 1888 by Edwin Thomas Hall (1851–1923) – the British architect who is most famous for designing the striking Tudor-revival Liberty London department store. The historic façade has been retained whilst the interior completely remodelled, and an additional sixth floor with its own cupola added. Graf and his select circle of trusted craftsmen have transformed the hotel, bringing an elegant Victorian mansion into the 21st century.
