This Father’s Day, Il Gattopardo, a Mayfair restaurant inspired by 1960s Italy, will be treating all fathers and fatherly figures to a complimentary Il Pranzo lunch on Sunday, 21st June 2026.
The menu is designed in the spirit of a traditional Italian Sunday, to be shared family-style, just as it would be in Italy. To begin, a generous spread of seasonal Antipasti arrives for the table, including Tonno, a lime-marinated tuna tartare with capers and pickled cucumber; Salumi Misti, artisanal Italian cold cuts with house-made grissini; Polpette, Italian-style meatballs in tomato sauce with Parmigiano Reggiano; and Asparagi, grilled asparagus with truffle honey and Parmesan shavings, among other dishes.
Guests then enjoy a Primo course of Spaghetti alla Carrettiera made with fresh Sicilian tomato, basil and garlic pangrattato, before selecting a Secondo course to be shared between two of either grilled beef rump with broccoletti, Romano pepper and red wine reduction, or a selection of grilled sea bream, prawns, mussels and squid with roasted cherry tomato.
For a sweet note, Dolci D’Estate arrives as a shared spread of traditional Italian summer pastries, accompanied by Il Gattopardo’s iconic Tiramisu and a Gelato Mantecato, the perfect end to a long, convivial Italian Sunday.
To close the celebration, each table will be treated to a little surprise for the dads: a crispy choux in the spirit of the beloved Zeppole, filled with luscious vanilla cream, syrupy cherries, and a cloud of whipped cream — and finished with a leopard-print moustache, a nod to papà and the soul of Il Gattopardo.
Il Pranzo is priced at £58 per guest, and will be complimentary for fathers and father figures dining on Sunday, 21st June 2026. Bookings for Il Gattopardo can be made here.
