This February, Il Gattopardo invites guests to experience the opulence of 1960s Italy combined with the theatrical spirit of the Venetian Carnival. For a limited time (7th-8th and 14th-15th February), the acclaimed Mayfair destination will transform its signature weekend lunch into Il Pranzo di Carnevale: a celebration of Venetian heritage and regional gastronomy.

Once settled within the warmth of the Dion et Arles-designed dining room or the luminous, glass-roofed Terrazza, guests will experience Il Pranzo di Carnevale – a menu designed for the whole table to share in authentic Italian luncheon style.
The experience begins with a curated selection of Antipasti, featuring:
- Baccalà: An elevated take on the Venetian classic, featuring whipped salt cod and Colombino olive oil on toasted country bread.
- The Full Spread: A vibrant table of Gamberi, Salumi Misti, Caprese, Polpette, and Verdure.
To complement the feast, guests can start with the Scaramuccia cocktail as their Aperitivo. Inspired by the classic flavours of the Veneto cocktail, this signature serve blends Aperol, Campari, and lemon juice, topped with a delicate Mandarinetto foam. Risotto Al Nero, the crown jewel of Venetian seafood cooking – squid ink risotto, cuttlefish, mussels, and Amalfi lemon – follows, which guests will enjoy before choosing between Grilled Beef Rump served with Romano pepper, brocoletti, beef & red wine reduction, or Grilled Red Snapper, prawns, mussels, squid and roasted cherry tomato.
A selection of Pasticceria to share is served to finish the meal, including Il Gattopardo’s iconic Tiramisu, Gelato Mantecato with chocolate sauce and toppings, and Dolci Di Carnevale; Venetian classics of Chiacchiere and Struffoli.
Il Pranzo de Carnevale will be available during weekends between 2nd – 17th February 2026. Reservations for Il Gattopardo can be made here.
