Il Gattopardo Brings the Italian Summer to Mayfair with Spritz Cocktails, Gelato and Signature Sgroppino
Il Gattopardo, Mayfair’s restaurant inspired by 1960s Italy, is the place to cool down in central London this July, with their selection of refreshing Spritz cocktails, house-made Gelato and its signature Gattopardo Sgroppino, inviting guests to embrace the art of rinfrescarsi (cooling down).
To start, guests can enjoy Il Gattopardo’s signature Red Desert, a vibrant combination of Italian sparkling wine, Aperol, lemonade and orange granita, alongside other Italian classics including Aperol and Campari Spritz, Bellini and Rossini, designed for both aperitivo hour on the Terrazza, and late night digestivos.
Executive Pastry Chef Galileo Reposo’s selection of house-made Gelato celebrates Italy’s most iconic flavours with a selection including Olive Oil, Peach, Pistachio, Negroni, Basil, Strawberry, Chocolate and Vanilla available by the scoop. The restaurant’s Gelato Mantecato is also available; freshly made fior di latte ice cream served family-style accompanied by warm chocolate sauce and an array of toppings.
To finish, guests can also enjoy Il Gattopardo’s signature Gattopardo Sgroppino; a contemporary interpretation of the Venetian classic, blending lemon sorbet with Cîroc vodka, Italian sparkling wine, Italicus and Grappa Nonino Moscato, providing the perfect refreshing end to a long Italian lunch or dinner.
