As Spring arrives in the city, CARBONE London expands its offering with the introduction of a dedicated lunch service and the opening of its seasonal Terrace overlooking Grosvenor Square in Mayfair.
Beginning April 20th, CARBONE will serve from 12:00 PM to 14:30 PM at the restaurant’s Street Salon and newly opened Terrace. The menu features a selection of seasonal dishes, including Pea and Pecorino, Spring Pea Cappellacci, Spaghetti Puttanesca, and Steamed Asparagus, alongside many of CARBONE’s most celebrated signatures such as Spicy Rigatoni Vodka, Caesar alla ZZ, and Carpaccio Piemontese. A daily crudo selection highlights the finest locally sourced seafood, while desserts include delicate sorbets and gelatos, as well as CARBONE’s iconic dessert tray featuring classics like Lemon Cheesecake and Carrot Cake.
Guests may also explore selections from CARBONE London’s exceptional wine cellar of over 10,000 bottles, alongside classic cocktails and alcohol-free refreshers.
Designed by Ken Fulk, the Street Salon channels the spirit of CARBONE’s original New York location, where high-gloss blue paneling, tin ceilings, marble mosaic floors, and embroidered café curtains are complemented by a curated art collection by Vito Schnabel—creating a setting that is both transportive and unmistakably CARBONE.
In tandem, the Terrace makes its seasonal debut, poised to become one of London’s most sought-after al fresco dining destinations. Overlooking the gardens of Grosvenor Square, the space features white-tablecloth seating alongside custom banquettes and rattan chairs, set among lush greenery and framed by a grove of olive trees, offering a refined expression of CARBONE’s signature glamour. The terrace will be open for both lunch and dinner service, weather permitting.
Founded by Mario Carbone, Jeff Zalaznick, and Rich Torrisi, CARBONE has become an American cultural institution by honoring the Italian restaurants that defined 1950s New York, elevating the genre through exceptional ingredients, refined technique, and a singular sense of style. Since opening its first location in 2013, CARBONE has redefined modern Italian dining and expanded globally. CARBONE London opened in September 2025.
ABOUT CARBONE
One of the most recognizable names in modern culinary history, CARBONE pays homage to the iconic Italian restaurants that pulsed with life throughout New York City in the 1950s and 60s. The original location debuted in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village in 2012 and was hailed as the restaurant that elevated New York-style Italian cuisine to unprecedented heights while giving the fine dining landscape a much-needed jolt of energy, soul, and fun. In the years since, CARBONE has become something even greater than a collection of revered restaurants in Las Vegas, London, Hong Kong, Miami Beach, Dallas, Doha, Riyadh, and Dubai. It is a cultural sensation and, very proudly, the standard bearer of an essential American heritage.
