In the late summer of 2026, boutique Yorkshire retreat Aysgarth Falls Hotel, will unveil a collection of 14 new luxurious suites, each thoughtfully designed to reflect the beauty of the surrounding Yorkshire Dales. Nestled between the stunning triple waterfall and Aysgarth Falls Hotel’s main house, the suites draw inspiration from the textures, tones and landscape of the local area, offering guests a secluded and design-led escape in the heart of the Dales.
Already established as one of the Yorkshire Dales’ best-loved boutique destinations, Aysgarth Falls Hotel has built a reputation for combining relaxed luxury with a strong connection to the surrounding landscape and community. The introduction of the Hyllside suites marks a natural evolution, expanding the offering to meet growing demand for elevated countryside stays, while allowing guests to experience the unique character of the Dales.
Inspired by the elemental textures and colour palettes of the Dales, the suites have been carefully curated in three distinct interior styles: Traditional, Classic and Contemporary. Each design scheme takes influence from the surrounding landscape, with woodland-inspired timber finishes and earthy tones through to soft mushroom hues and cornflower blues. A limited number of pet-friendly suites are also available, alongside a fully-accessible suite designed to ensure comfort for all guests.
Each suite has been designed with comfort and relaxation in mind, featuring superking beds, spacious lounge areas and private terraces complete with freestanding outdoor baths. Selected Hyllside Spa Suites also include enhanced wellness features such as steam shower rooms and copper spa baths with jets on the private terrace, creating a more elevated retreat experience for guests.
Alongside celebrating the landscapes, the development of the Hyllside Suites has also focused on supporting the wider community, partnering with a number of Yorkshire-based brands, suppliers and craftspeople throughout the project. The suites reflect the hotel’s ongoing commitment to championing regional businesses while contributing to the continued growth of the local visitor economy.
Guests have easy access to Aysgarth Falls Hotel’s wider offering, including its pub, lounge and restaurant, where the menu draws on the experience of Head Chef, Umrang Patidar, whose background includes Gleneagles Hotel and Claridge’s. Balancing privacy with connection, the suites have been designed to offer a more secluded retreat experience while keeping the hotel’s hospitality, dining and social spaces within easy reach.
Jason Brook, CEO of The Brook Group and owner of Aysgarth Falls Hotel said: “The Yorkshire Dales is a place shaped by its history, the landscape and the communities that have called it home for generations. Dating back to before the Crusades, our historic location right beside Aysgarth Falls itself has provided a place to rest for hundreds of years; now, we welcome guests to our hotel to experience a true luxury experience in the National Park. This development is unique to the Dales in its entirety. As custodians of Aysgarth Falls Hotel, we wanted the Hyllside Suites to honour this history and establishment while creating something new for future guests to enjoy.
“Every aspect of the development has been carefully considered, from the design inspiration drawn from the surrounding landscapes to the partnerships we are building with Yorkshire businesses throughout the project. It’s been about respecting this charming corner of Yorkshire while allowing it to evolve and flourish. The suites truly represent a new chapter for Aysgarth Falls Hotel, one that celebrates the area’s heritage while helping secure its future as a destination for visitors seeking an authentic Yorkshire experience, every season of the year – a story of old roots and new blooms.”
Prices for the Hyllside suites start at £245 and the Hyllside Spa Suites from £325. The suites are available to book from late summer 2026.
