LONDON, UK – October 16, 2025 – Liu Xiaomian, London’s beloved Chongqing noodle specialists, are bringing their signature fiery bowls to the city’s latest pub, The Stranded, for a new pop-up. The partnership will offer a cozy and buzzing winter atmosphere for diners to enjoy authentic, spicy flavors from China’s spice capital, perfectly paired with a cold pint.

Founded by Charlene and Linda Liu, who both hail from Chongqing, Liu Xiaomian first started as a street-food stall in 2017 before opening their flagship Kingly Court restaurant in 2024. Now, they are bringing their cult-favorite dishes to The Stranded, a pub from the team behind Marylebone’s The Jackalope.

The menu features the signature Chongqing Xiaomian (wheat noodles) and Hot & Sour Glass Noodles (sweet potato starch), alongside other Chongqing classics like minced pork & chickpea and vegan options. Visitors can also enjoy wontons, spicy cucumber salad, and sweet desserts.

This new pop-up offers Londoners a chance to experience the authentic, “mind-numbingly good” flavors that have made Liu Xiaomian a sensation.
